Hi there! I'm Jenn, an international student from Ecuador pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at UCLA. Alongside my studies, I serve as a Peer Learning Facilitator, leading engaging study sessions to help my peers excel in their DSA coursework. Through internships and fellowships, I've had the opportunity to work on diverse projects, developing full-stack fintech modules and AI-powered applications using a variety of technologies.
I'm passionate about software development and AI, having built tools that help students learn and study more effectively. My long-term goal is to leverage my technical skills to promote educational access and children's rights in Ecuador. When I'm not coding, I enjoy staying active, exploring new cuisines, and optimizing my productivity with Notion.
Here's what I'm currently involved in:
Peer Learning Facilitator
As a PLF at UCLA's APP, I guide peers in weekly sessions for practice for the Data Structures and Algorithms class (CS 32).
Notion Campus Leader
I create engaging workshops and templates to help students with college organization and improve productivity.
CodePath TIP102 Fellow
Advanced technical interview workshops and peer programming sessions, solving algorithm challenges in Python.
Hackthons
Participated in HOTHXI and HeadStarterAI Hackathon, upcoming in 2025: LA Hacks and RoseHack.
